Review: Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream

Review: Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream

Saturday Skin is one of those brands that I lusted over for months, the cute pink packaging, skincare full of promises. It reached the point where I couldn’t resist ordering  some bits, one of those ‘bits’ being the Waterfall Glacier Water Cream. It is safe to say I have fallen in love with the brand which is why I had to include one of their sheet masks in my Christmas Giveaway last month.

Before I head into my review, I’ll give you the basic details of the product first. As I’m in the UK I bought mine from Cult Beauty (here), and it was £31 for 50ml (1.59 Fl. Oz.). Honestly, price wise I don’t think it was too bad, you can definitely pay so much more for skincare – you can also pay a lot less as it is just a moisturiser but I definitely believe with skincare that the more you pay the better it’ll work (within reason, you won’t see me buying £80 one use sheet masks anytime soon trust me!).

Packaging: I mean, the packaging is the factor that initially sold me to this brand in all honesty. It’s super modern, super sleek and pink – what more could you want? I also really like how durable it is; although they tend to be that bit bulkier I much prefer pots of product to tubes. When it comes to travel, to save space I would just decant some into a smaller and more travel appropriate pot. But yes, I’d give the packaging 10/10 and I can’t wait to test out more of their range!

Product: The product itself, is a really thick moisturising cream which has quite a gel like texture to it. I have found that it really hydrates my skin and has most definitely saved my skin the past few months as Winter has hit. My skin feels much smoother, and also looks smoother & clearer too! It make my makeup application super easy, and I now skip primer and concealer which gets me a few extra minutes in bed – which lets be honest, who doesn’t want?

“A luscious gel cream that’s perfect for hydrating parched skin without overburdening it, Saturday Skin’s Waterfall Glacier Cream is a pink-hued dream come true for your complexion. The age-defying formula is enriched with cooling, soothing glacier water to deliver mineral-rich moisture while protecting from free radicals. A fusion of ferments, strenghtening amino acids and plant extracts help to calm skin while boosting vitality and supplesness. Behing its playful branding, Saturday Skin is developed out of cutting-edge research , created by scientists at Chaum, a renowed wellness centre in Seoul, South Korea. The key to Saturday Skin is the Cha-7 es Complex, an exclusive peptide formula that promoted skin’s natural regeneration progess to reveal your clearest, dewiest complexion yet.”

Would I repurchase? I will most definitely be buying this product again. When I do I will also be testing out some more products from their range so let me know either your favourite Saturday Skin product, or let me know which you want me to try next in the comments below!
